Before you go
- Fancy dress is normal in the British area around Calle Gerona. Smart venues (Benidorm Palace, beach clubs) are not the place for it.
- The beaches close from midnight to 7am, and you can't drink alcohol on the beach. Drinking in the street can get you a fine.
- Some hotels take a cash bond or a damage deposit (€50–300) on arrival. Ask the amount before you go.
- Boat parties leave from Altea and run on Saturdays. Book your weekend around them.

What can a stag or hen group do in the day?
Go-karting, the downhill bike ride, jet skis and banana boats are the stag favourites. Hens often add a cocktail-making class or a spa afternoon. On 14 Oct 2026 jet skis were listed from £43 for 30 minutes and buggies to the Algar waterfalls from £101 for two. Plenty of groups simply spend the day at the beach bars and save energy for the night.

Is there a booze cruise or boat party in Benidorm?
Not a regular one from Benidorm harbour, where the boats are sightseeing trips to the island, Calpe and Tabarca. Party boats have sailed from Altea marina, with a Saturday boat including a drink reported in 2025. Some firms bus groups to Alicante to sail. Party boats were quoted at £45 a head in 2022.

Should we book a stag or hen package or sort it ourselves?
Most travellers say sort it yourselves. Benidorm is compact, a bar crawl needs no guide, and in 2017 travellers said the clubs and cabaret bars charged no entry. Where can we go go-karting?
There is a large karting track in Finestrat, just outside Benidorm, and travellers say it collects groups from their hotel and drops them back. Karting La Vila in Villajoyosa was listed from £34 for a 30-minute drive (checked Oct 2026). Travellers rate karting as a good day out for a big group.

Yes. A hotel spa on the Levante side charged €18 for two hours in 2023, with massages extra. Hen groups have also booked mountain retreat days with pick-up from Benidorm, though those reports date from 2016 and 2017.
