How do we find out where an act is playing?

Three steps, every time. Check a gig guide for the week, check the act's own Facebook page, where most post their dates, and read the boards outside the bars, because acts swap venues at short notice. Our What's on page lists each day's acts by bar, time and area, and you can filter it to tributes only. Visitors also say to check the bar's own page: a venue can close for a break while the act plays somewhere else.

Do the acts go back to the UK for Christmas?

Many do. In 2024 and 2025 visitors reported a lot of the regular acts heading back to the UK in late November or early December for Christmas shows, and some venues closing until Christmas week. A few take their break in summer instead: one Rincón de Loix rock and roll bar was shut until the end of August 2024. For the last week of November, expect a slightly smaller choice and check the week before you fly.

Which tributes can we see?

Nearly anything. On Thursday 15 October 2026 our listings had tributes to Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Elvis, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Adele, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Status Quo and Taylor Swift, plus country, Motown and reggae nights. Most are on Calle Gerona (Western Saloon, Brit Station, Morgan Tavern, Rockerfellas, Talk of the Coast) and in Rincón de Loix (Talk of the Town Cabaret, Rock and Roll House, Philippines 10, Cafe Benidorm). The two areas are a few minutes' walk apart, so you can hop between sets.

Do we have to pay to see the acts?

Usually not. Most bar shows are free to get in and you pay through your drinks. Visitors in 2024 enjoyed pointing out that acts they watch for nothing in Benidorm charge £25 to £40 a ticket on tour at home. Benidorm Palace is the exception: a ticketed dinner show from €40 for the show alone, on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Buy a round when you can; it's what keeps the acts free.

When do the shows start?

Earlier than you'd think. The listings start around midday, and on our sample Thursday tributes ran from 14:00, with the big evening shows from 19:00 and 20:00. Afternoon shows are quieter and easier for six to get a table together; the late ones have the atmosphere. Most bars run several acts a day back to back, so you can stay put or wander.

What's Benidorm like at the end of November?

Quieter but very much open. In November 2025, 123 hotels were open with 63% of beds filled, at an average €86 a room. Days average about 19.6°C and nights 12.8°C, so bring a jacket for walking between bars. With six of you, a table near the front fills fast in the evening: get there for the act before.
