Where's cheapest to buy Benidorm theme park tickets?
Dear Brenda
There are five of us going in July and we want to do the parks: Terra Natura and Aqua Natura for certain, maybe Mundomar and Aqualandia too. Is it cheaper to book online from home, buy from a shop once we're there, or just pay at the gate? Are those discount leaflets worth bothering with? And are the combined tickets actually a saving?
For five of you in July, book online a day or two ahead, park by park, from whichever seller is cheapest, and don't pay at the gate. On 14 Oct 2026 the cheapest online prices were £19.85 for Terra Natura and £17.31 for Aqua Natura (both on Civitatis), £18 for Mundomar (GetYourGuide) and £34.63 for Aqualandia (Civitatis), while the gate is full price: one 2023 visitor paid €25 through a seller in town against €31 at the gate. Treat the leaflets handed out at arrivals and racked round the indoor market as one more price to compare, not a bargain to grab. Skip the Terra Natura and Aqua Natura combined ticket: it was £40 a head, while the two single tickets came to £37.16, about £14 saved across five. For Mundomar with Aqualandia, ask a travel shop in town such as Round Town Travel in Rincón for its joint ticket, which regulars found a modest saving, and check it against the two online singles.
Who the regulars recommend
- CivitatisCheapest seller we found on 14 Oct 2026 for Terra Natura (£19.85), Aqua Natura (£17.31) and Aqualandia (£34.63).
- GetYourGuideCheapest we found on 14 Oct 2026 for Mundomar (£18) and Terra Mítica (£24).
- Round Town Travel, Rincón de Loix (next to Hotel Regente)Regulars praise the staff and its joint park tickets and offers. Check it's still at that address.
- Your hotel's excursion deskThe first price to ask for in the regulars' compare-three-ways routine.
Watch out for
- The gate is the dearest way in; buy before you queue, even the night before.
- Combined tickets aren't automatically cheaper; add up the two singles first.
- Check which parks, days and ages a discount leaflet covers before you use it.
- Line 42 runs to Terra Natura only five times a day; miss the last bus and you need a taxi.
- A taxi for five costs a €3 fifth-seat supplement on top of the €2.35 park supplement.
Online, in a shop in town or at the gate?
Online or in a shop in town, never the gate. The one point everyone agrees on is that the gate is full price: in 2023 one visitor paid €25 through a seller in town against €31 at the gate, and Spanish visitors told the same story years earlier. Regulars suggest a simple routine: look up the park's own website price, check what your hotel and the travel shops in town charge, then compare the booking sites. On our check of 14 Oct 2026, GetYourGuide was cheapest for Mundomar and Terra Mítica, and Civitatis for Aqualandia, Terra Natura and Aqua Natura. Prices change daily, so check again the week you go.
Are the combined tickets worth it?
Not automatically, so do the sums. Combined tickets exist for parks that sit side by side: Mundomar with Aqualandia, and Terra Natura with its water park, Aqua Natura. On 14 Oct 2026 the Terra Natura and Aqua Natura combined ticket started at £40, while the two singles bought separately came to £37.16. Travel shops in town sell their own joint deals; in 2023 visitors found a modest saving on Mundomar with Aqualandia that way, and in 2022 Round Town Travel had Aqualandia weekend tickets at €26 for adults and €20 for children.
Do the discount leaflets actually work?
Sometimes, but rarely by much. Visitors mention people handing out leaflets in the Alicante arrivals hall, ticket desks before you go through the doors, and racks of leaflets around the indoor market. Nobody reports being caught out, but the discounts are often no better than the cheapest online price. Check exactly which parks, days and ages a leaflet covers before you use it.
What will it cost the five of us?
At the online prices we found on 14 Oct 2026, five adult tickets would come to about £186 for Terra Natura plus Aqua Natura bought as singles, £90 for Mundomar and £173 for Aqualandia. Those are 'from' prices per adult; children's prices differ by park, so check the ages each seller counts as a child. In 2023 the gate price at one park was €31 for adults and €25 for children aged 4 to 12.
How do we get to the parks?
Aqualandia and Mundomar are the easy ones: bus line 1 ends at their stop about every 30 minutes, and line 11 runs there hourly from the bus station. Terra Natura is harder: line 42 runs there only five times a day, between 09:57 and 18:23 on our last check, so plan the day round it. A single bus fare is €2. A taxi for five needs a bigger car, which costs €3 extra for the fifth seat, plus a €2.35 park supplement each way.
Any tips for July?
Go early. July is the parks' busiest month, so arrive for opening, bag shade at the water parks and take plenty of water and sun cream. Check the park's own calendar for your dates before you buy, since opening hours change through the season.
What the regulars say
- Check the park's own website price first, then compare shops in town and the booking sites.
- Pick up discount leaflets at arrivals or round the indoor market, but compare before you use one.
- Add up combined tickets; on our last check two singles were cheaper than the combo.
- Plan Terra Natura round the line 42 bus times, or budget for a taxi.

Your other questions, answered
2023Where's best to buy combined park tickets?
Travel shops in town, such as Round Town Travel, sell joint tickets, but compare them with buying singles online. On 14 Oct 2026 two singles for Terra Natura and Aqua Natura beat the combined ticket by £2.84 each.
2023Do leaflets give discounts on Mundomar's VIP and animal experiences?
We've had no reports of leaflet discounts on the VIP extras. Ask the park direct and a travel shop in town, and compare.
2023How do we get to the parks, and where do we buy tickets?
Lines 1 and 11 go to Aqualandia and Mundomar; line 42 goes to Terra Natura and Terra Mítica five times a day. Buy tickets online or in town before you go, not at the gate.
2022Aqua Natura and Terra Natura for five: agency or direct?
Compare both. On 14 Oct 2026 the cheapest singles on Civitatis came to £37.16 a head, less than the £40 combined ticket.
2022Is it cheaper to book in town or online from home?
Online is usually cheapest, and the gate is dearest. Buy in town only if a shop beats the online price on the day.
2022Where should we buy tickets for days out?
Ask your hotel desk, then a travel shop in town, then check the booking sites. The cheapest seller changes from park to park.
