Sol Pelícanos Ocas

In the show: The Solana's pool, sun terrace and outside shots, in every series. In series 1 the reception was filmed on the Ocas side, and in series 1 and 2 Neptune's was a false bar front built in the hotel's grounds.

In real life: Sol Pelícanos Ocas, twin Meliá hotels on Calle Gerona. The lagoon pool with the swim-up bar is the one you see on screen.

Morgan's Tavern

In the show: Neptune's, the Solana's bar with the karaoke and the nightly turns, from series 3 onwards.

In real life: Morgan's Tavern, a working show bar on the same street as the hotel. The Daily Record calls it "over the road"; it is about 200 m west along Calle Gerona.

Acuarium II apartments

In the show: The guests' bedrooms and balconies, in many episodes.

In real life: Edificio Acuarium II, an apartment block next to the hotel that overlooks the Sol Pelícanos pool. The photo shows Acuarium III, the neighbouring block on the same avenue.

4Reception and salon set

The Pink House

In the show: The Solana's reception and the hair salon, from the 2009 summer special to the end of the series. It was a studio set built inside this building.

In real life: A private building near Benidorm Palace (Wikipedia: opposite the Palace; Lauren in Leicester: near the Palace, next to Iceland). The Benidorm Fansite gives 58 Av. Dr. Severo Ochoa; our pin follows the fansite's map link, so treat it as close, not exact.

The Garvey family (Mick, Janice, Madge, Chantelle and Michael) left before series 7. Singer Asa Elliott made regular guest turns at Neptune's.

2026 and 2027

Is Benidorm coming back?

Not yet. In April 2025 Derren Litten said he had held talks with ITV about a return, but nothing was commissioned. In April 2026 Sherrie Hewson said she had "no idea" whether it would come back.

For the 20th anniversary, a live tour called An Audience with Benidorm plays Glee Club venues in March 2027: Cardiff on 8 March, then Birmingham and Glasgow, ending in Leeds on 11 March. Sherrie Hewson is the first cast member confirmed.
