Where we looked. We ran 20 Spanish-language Google Maps searches restricted to Benidorm (restaurante, arrocería, casa de comidas, menú del día, bar de tapas, bar de barrio, freiduría and more). We added 24 restaurants named in Spanish press, Guía Repsol and Benidorm's own tapas competition. That gave 404 places. We kept those rated 4.2★ or higher with 100+ reviews, and removed chains (257). Full review and detail data came back for 113 of them in this pass, and those are the ones scored.
