Kids clubs and babysitting in Benidorm (2026)
Kids clubs are alive and well in Benidorm, but most are seasonal, many are run in Spanish, and almost no hotel publishes a babysitting price. Here is what each hotel actually offers, and how to get a sitter you can trust.

Patterns worth knowing
- Season: Easter, then mid/late June to mid-September. Longer runs: Magic Aqua Rock Gardens (late March to mid-November), Deloix and Sol Pelícanos Ocas (all year, by the hotels' own account).
- Language: clubs in Spanish-majority hotels run mostly in Spanish (Poseidón, Magic Cristal Park guest reports). TUI's club at Flamingo Oasis is for TUI guests.
- Teens: rare. Servigroup Pueblo has a teen sports programme; Magic Tropical Splash in Finestrat runs a 13–16 club.
- Evenings: the mini disco, usually around 20:00–20:30, is the most common kids' evening slot.
- Cots: €6.75 a night at Magic hotels, €7 at Deloix, free at MedPlaya when booked direct.

Checks to ask for
- The certificate. Spanish law (Ley Orgánica 8/2021, art. 57) requires anyone working regularly with children to hold a certificado de delitos de naturaleza sexual showing no sexual-offence convictions. Ask any sitter or agency to show it. It is free and quick for them to get.
- Meet first, ideally the day before, with the children there.
- Language: confirm the sitter speaks English if your children don't speak Spanish.
- Leave: your number, the hotel's number, your room number, and the emergency number 112 (free, English spoken).
- Agree the price and end time in writing (WhatsApp is fine), including any taxi home late at night.

Free beach play areas
Benidorm council runs free beach ludotecas, play areas with specialist staff, in July and August: on Levante (next to the beach library, Av. Europa / Av. Madrid) and on Poniente (Parque de Elche). Hours have been 10:30–13:30 and 16:00–19:00 daily. Ages and whether you can leave children are not published, so ask on the day and plan to stay nearby. Check 2026 dates
Indoor play centres such as Happyland (Av. Jaume I 31) and Festilandia (Av. Mediterráneo 20) are for children with their parents, not drop-off.
