The water parks are summer only. Travellers reported Aqualandia opening on 1 June in 2023, and reports of closing dates range from mid-September to the end of October. Mundomar and Terra Natura open for more of the year, and Terra Mítica has dropped to weekends outside high summer. Dates change each year, so check each park's calendar.

Aqualandia for teenagers and adults. It is bigger, with bigger slides, and sits next to Mundomar, but it gets busier with longer queues. Aqua Natura is smaller, suits young children and shares a site with the Terra Natura zoo. On 14 Oct 2026 tickets started at £34.63 for Aqualandia and £17.31 for Aqua Natura.

Mundomar is the favourite with parents of small children, for the sea lion, dolphin and parrot shows. Terra Natura works for toddlers too, but it is big and means a lot of walking. Aqualandia's slides are too big for most three-year-olds. Terra Mítica has a few rides and shows for little ones.

Travellers say yes at Aqualandia, which has picnic areas, and families have taken lunch into Aqua Natura and Terra Mítica too. Food inside the parks is busy and not cheap, they add. Most of these reports are from before 2018, so check each park's current rules before you pack.

Yes, and travellers often do. The parks sit side by side, so the usual plan is Mundomar in the morning for the shows and the water park in the afternoon. Joint tickets exist, and a joint ticket was €45 in 2013. Families do the same at Terra Natura and Aqua Natura, where a combined ticket was listed from £40 (checked Oct 2026).

Opinions are split. Some travellers love the shows, the rides and the themed buildings, and a family with a five-year-old had a great day in 2016. Others found it short on shade in July and August, and one couple in 2022 queued 40 minutes for a ride and left early. Tickets were listed from £24 on 14 Oct 2026.

It varies. Travellers found Mundomar steep and hard work, though some say it is worth it with help. Terra Natura is mainly flat, with seating for disabled visitors at the shows, and Terra Mítica is easier than Mundomar but still has slopes. One family who use a wheelchair avoid all three. Reports on disabled discounts at Mundomar differ, so ask at the ticket desk.

Bus line 1 ends at the Aqualandia and Mundomar stop about every 30 minutes, via Levante and Rincón de Loix. Line 11 runs there from the bus station and town centre about once an hour. A ride costs €2.00 (checked Oct 2026). Travellers put the taxi ride at about 10 minutes.

Bus line 42 runs from Av. Beniardà to Terra Natura and Terra Mítica, but only 5 times a day, 09:57 to 18:23 (checked Oct 2026). The tram has a Terra Mítica stop, but it is about 1.5 km from the park gate. Many travellers take a taxi instead. One quoted about €15 each way in 2025, and taxis add a €2.35 park supplement (checked Oct 2026).

Mundomar leads at 4.4 from 5,133 TripAdvisor reviews; Terra Mitica trails at 3.6, and Aqualandia's 3.8 is dragged down by long slide queues.
Great for children. Feeding the sea lions is fun and the dolphin show is the highlight.
A family paid £22 for five animal photos, dolphins included, and the children loved it.
Lots of steep up-and-down walking, tiring if you are not used to it. Mundomar is far more compact.
The tiger enclosure felt too small with little shade, the rhinos cramped, and a panther looked dehydrated.
A family with children aged 6 to 10, plus their nan, all found something to enjoy.
Short queues and every ride running, even in poor weather.
Feels like it is decaying, with no new rides and some closed.
Average waits of 5 to 10 minutes and almost none after 4pm, though others reported 30 to 60 minutes.
Children queued over three hours for the Cyclone slide. The family judged it not worth it.
Food and drink were varied and fairly priced, but sunbeds cost €5 each.
