Best apps for a Benidorm holiday (2026)
Eight apps do almost everything in Benidorm. Sort your data before you fly, because that is where most people overpay.

1. Data: eSIM or UK roaming?
Since Brexit most UK networks charge to use your phone in Spain. Check yours first.

An eSIM is a data plan you download to your phone; no shop, no plastic SIM. Install it at home on wifi, keep your UK SIM on for calls and texts, and switch data to the eSIM when you land at Alicante.

3. Money
- Revolut, Wise, Monzo or Chase. Spend in euros with no foreign-transaction fee. Load or link before you fly.
- Always choose "pay in EUR" when a card machine or cash machine offers pounds. The pound option uses the shop's or bank's own exchange rate.

5. Trips, tours and parks
