Who are the best comedians and cabaret shows in Benidorm?

Who's good at the moment?

The same few names come up year after year. From 2022 to 2025, visitors rate Jimmy Bright (often at Talk of the Coast, usually on about 11pm), Tony Scott (at Rockerfellas around 10.30pm, and always packed) and Gary George. In 2025 one visitor enjoyed Mickey Lewis at the Ambassador Lounge for his quick quips at the audience, and Danny Downing was resident at Greeny's cabaret bar. Several visitors say a few acts are running the same material they had before the pandemic: great if you loved it then.

Where do the comedians play?

In the cabaret and show bars, not in comedy clubs. Calle Gerona has Rockerfellas and Talk of the Coast; Rincón de Loix has the bigger cabaret rooms such as Talk of the Town Cabaret. Both were listing acts on our What's on page in October 2026. The comic is usually the last act of the night, after the singers, and entry is normally free: one 2023 visitor said they'd happily pay £30 to see their favourite and it costs nothing. Buy your drinks there; that's what pays for the show.

Is it true the comedy club closed?

Yes. The dedicated comedy and cabaret club beneath the Hotel Presidente on Avenida Filipinas closed some years ago, and visitors spent a long time hoping it would reopen; it never came back as a comedy club. A lot of older advice you'll find online is about it, so ignore anything that sends you there. Comedy carried on in the cabaret bars instead, and that's where every comic visitors recommend now plays.

Will there be comedy in early December?

Some, but less than usual. In 2024 visitors reported many acts already back in the UK doing Christmas shows, and in 2025 the venues of several of the best-known comics closed from late November until Christmas week. Others stay open with a resident comedian. Before you fly, filter our What's on page to Comedy & acts for your dates and check the comics' own Facebook pages. Hotels are cheaper: rooms averaged €90 a night in December 2025, and 106 hotels were open.

Is the comedy suitable for everyone?

No. Visitors since 2023 agree most Benidorm comics are risqué and a lot of the material is very blue. That's the appeal for regulars and a turn-off for others. If you're with children or easily offended, pick a singer or tribute act instead. And sit back from the stage: the favourite trick is to build the night round whoever is in the front row.

Where's the dressed-up cabaret night?

Benidorm Palace on Avenida Dr Severo Ochoa. Its show, TRIVIUM, runs Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; doors open at 20:00 and it starts at 22:00, or 22:15 on Saturday. Show only is €40, show with tapa and a glass of wine €50, and dinner packages €60 to €110. For dinner be seated before 21:15. On a long weekend, Friday or Saturday works; the box office opens from 10:00 except Sunday.
