Where can a hen party stay in Benidorm?
Dear Brenda
I'm planning my daughter's hen for ten of us, aged from 21 to 60, in June. We're struggling to find a hotel that will take us, and some tour operators say no hens at all. Which hotels will have ten of us near the bars? And what can we do in the day that suits the older ones as well as the young?
Yes, you'll get ten of you in, as long as you email first, say it's a hen and how many, and keep the written yes. Hotel Perla and Hotel Marina, across the road from each other near the strip, are the ones regulars name for groups, with Hotel Orange and Levante Club also mentioned; check each is open and still taking hens for June. For the days, choose things all ages can share: the boat to Benidorm Island (€22 return), a coach trip to the Algar waterfalls from about £24, a pamper afternoon at one of the 20 hotels on our list with a spa, or a bottomless brunch, reported at about €39 at Oasis Beach Club on the Levante front in 2026. Keep one night for Benidorm Palace, from €40 for the show.
Who the regulars recommend
- Hotel PerlaCentral, near the strip, and named again in 2025 as taking groups; check it's open on your dates.
- Hotel MarinaAcross the road from the Perla and named for large groups.
- Hotel OrangeNamed by hens and by a 2025 group of 24 who rated it excellent.
- Oasis Beach ClubOn the Levante front; reported doing a bottomless brunch at about €39 in 2026.
- Benidorm PalaceThe dressed-up show night: €40 show only, €60–€110 with dinner.
- Cafe BenidormThe Rincón de Loix bar hens name most for ending the night.
Watch out for
- Some hotels write 'no stag or hen groups' into their terms; don't book without asking.
- Don't split the booking to hide the hen; reception can turn the lot of you away.
- Check noise rules and guest policies before booking an apartment.
- A hotel a long way from the Square means a taxi every night; stay central.
- Keep bags and phones on you in busy bars; theft is the main crime in town.
Which hotels will take a hen?
Hotel Perla and Hotel Marina come up most for groups; they sit across the road from each other near the strip. Hotel Orange and Levante Club are also named, and a 2025 visitor said Paraiso 10 apartments take hens. Many hotels write 'no stag or hen groups' into their terms, and several on our own list do. Regulars think an honest group of five to seven women is seldom a problem; big groups are what hotels worry about, so ten should email and ask.
Where should we stay to be near the fun?
The Square, the strip around Calle Gerona and the Old Town are the areas hens name most. The Square and Calle Gerona are for late nights and shows; the Old Town is for tapas and a calmer drink, which suits the older ones. Cafe Benidorm in Rincón de Loix comes up again and again as the place to end the night, and Morgan Tavern on Calle Gerona is a regular stop. Most bar shows are free to get in.
What can we do in the day?
Plenty that isn't a bar crawl. Boats to Benidorm Island leave the harbour from 10:00, at €22 return for an adult. Coach trips to the Algar waterfalls start at about £24, and a buggy tour sold as a bride's last ride is from £162 for up to three. Some bars run cocktail-making sessions, and the restaurants at the Old Town end of the Levante promenade give you sea views. For a mixed-age group, a spa afternoon works for everyone.
Is a show night worth it?
Yes, and Benidorm Palace is the big one. Its show, TRIVIUM, runs on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting at 22:00, or 22:15 on Saturday. A show-only ticket is €40, and dinner packages run from €60 to €110. If you're having dinner, be there before 21:15 or it isn't served. On other nights, the free cabaret and tribute bars around Rincón de Loix and Calle Gerona fill the gap.
What's June like for a hen?
Hot, busy and lively. The average June high is 27.0°C, the sea about 24.1°C, and rain falls on about two days. That's good pool and beach weather, but book rooms and Palace tickets early. Plan the day trip for the morning after the biggest night, not the morning of it.
What the regulars say
- Email the hotel, say it's a hen and how many, and keep the written answer.
- Book Benidorm Palace dinner tickets early and arrive before 21:15.
- Mixed ages? Plan one daytime trip so the whole group gets a day together.
- Ask bars about cocktail-making sessions; some run them for groups.
